Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"What a great tasting experience. First off make a reservation this place gets really busy. We were lucky as we got a table by the door as we went early evening. What was to follow was a delicious adventure. With fresh ingredients paired with delightful wine."
"Absolutely outstanding quality of food and beverages, along with a cosy atmosphere. This restaurant has been a family favourite of ours for about a decade. Dishes of note include the beef carpaccio, aubergines/eggplant fried in honey, the tuna tataki, and the beef entrecot steak. One point of note is that most ingredients (even the breads and honey) are locally sourced. A large selection of wines is available. Reservations are required most of the time, especially for evenings and weekends."
"This restaurant is located right in the heart of Alicante and, according to the information displayed at the entrance, it was listed in the Michelin Guide in 2025. As a food enthusiast who has visited several Michelin-listed restaurants in different parts of the world, I had high expectations for this experience. Unfortunately, the food did not fully meet my expectations. The seafood dishes, in particular, were quite mild in flavor and lacked the depth I was hoping for. While the presentation was pleasant, the overall taste and portion sizes felt somewhat limited in relation to the price. The service was good, and the staff were polite, cheerful, and professional. They spoke fluent English and provided helpful recommendations. However, the restaurant was extremely busy and very noisy. By the end of our multi-course meal, we felt quite exhausted, as the tables were placed very close together and we had to raise our voices to speak to each other. If you are interested in trying more experimental or exotic cuisine, this restaurant may still be worth a visit. However, it is not an ideal place to relax and unwind after a long day. Overall, while the staff and atmosphere were lively and energetic, the dining experience did not fully justify the price for us."
"Recommended by a local-this was the first place we ate in Alicante and it did not disappoint! Friendly service, really good food! The crystal bread was unique and yummy! All of the dishes were spot on with their seasoning. We really liked this spot!"
"The Best Spanish Tapas You'll Ever Have! (Seriously, Go Now) Seriously, if you have time, you must come here for their tasting menu. This place offers high-quality, truly amazing Spanish classic tapas. We ordered the 8-course tasting tapas menu for three people and it was completely unbelievable. If you eat here, consider your bar for great food officially set way too high. Everything else you try after this will be compared to this meal! The dishes are incredible, showing off both stunning ingredients and classic technique. Their Jamón, olives, and creamy burrata were outstanding, and the classic small plates like the croquettes and sandwiches were flawless. We also loved the cool, fresh gazpacho soup, the rich caneloni, and the perfectly tender artichoke hearts. Every single tapa was delicious. You absolutely have to try their Tinto de Verano! It’s like the Spanish version of Aperol—super great and refreshing, especially during the hot summers. Coming from a place like Seattle, where even mediocre food costs an arm and a leg, this restaurant feels incredibly worthy of the hype. Honestly, you should just save money and travel to Alicante specifically to experience this beautiful city, the beaches, and this delicious food and wine. I already want to come back just to try their dinner tasting menu!"
"Service and atmosphere: The restaurant is located by the Main Street and marina. Clean, organised and located within walking distance of the main attractions. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food and drinks: No complaints. Menu offered many food options. The dishes we ordered for staters and main were well prepared and presented and had good flavours. We opted for coffees but you can order here alcoholic beverages too. Pricing: $$ - tourist location with tourists driven prices."
"The food was absolutely unreal. The steak has to be the best I’ve ever had – perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The glasses of champagne were fairly priced too. Overall, a brilliant experience. Well done to the team – I’m already looking forward to returning next year!"
"We had the tasting menu and it was outstanding, genuinely hard to pick a favourite as every course was delicious in its own right. Beautifully prepared dishes using high-quality ingredients, from seafood to Iberian pork, finishing with a perfect dessert. The restaurant is cosy and buzzy without being loud, and the service was excellent - attentive, efficient, and really let the food shine. There isn’t a dedicated children’s menu, but staff were happy to adapt an adult dish to make it simpler and child-friendly. A fantastic experience overall, would highly recommend and would definitely return."
